That'd be because using both Wicked and WonderfulWhims will crash your game. Choose the one you feel comfortable using, and stick with that, removing the other one.
Hi I just downloaded the wonderful whims mod, I play along with WW and MCC and MANY other mods. The game is telling me I don't have the WW script mod installed even after redownloading and reinstalling them both. Any idea what this could be ?

Yes. The only other mod I have is mc command centre and that’s working and showing but wonderful whims doesn’t even though it’s in my mods folder. I followed the download instructions so I’m not sure what’s going on.

Hello, I absolute adore this mod and do not want to play without it! But with the newest update, everytime my two female sims woohoo one of them becomes pregnant. I have tested to make sure it is this mod that is the problem and it is! I did not change their cas settings and they are both set to get pregnant. I also have the ww pregnancy box checked off. Is anyone else having this problem? Or can anyone help?
I just tried that and realized that it is not only a WoW issue, but if I have mc command center at the same time then it becomes an issue. With both of the two mods individually it is fine. Are the two no longer compatible?
I made a brand new save with just those two mods installed and the problem is still there. I had brand new versions of both of the mods so none of the settings had been changed at all. I began playing around with the settings but nothing seemed to impact it.
Hi, absolutely love this mod however I'm having an issue where no one can get pregnant.
I thought my Sim happened to be infertile (didn't know if that was a thing in the game or not) until I went to a different family and they couldn't have a baby no matter how many times they woohoo'd. After doing 50/50 I found out that it's this mod :( My game is up-to-date and I've been using the latest version of this mod.
so click on a sim > Wonderful > settings > pregnancy I think > and disable the last box I believe that says WW will override the game's woohoo settings - boom - fixed!
Hey I just wanted to comment with a small nitpick about how this mod as well as Wicked Whims works recently since the Likes and Dislikes update. I LOVE THESE MODS and would never play without them, but, one small, tiny, little thing that does bother me I wanted to run by you is just that the Simple Attraction menu that is included in CAS now along side Likes and Dislikes shows the Attractions sorted all over the place, kind of in the middle of the Base Game preferences for color, hobby, music etc. putting those in the corners actually.. and personally I would really love it if it was possible to have the Attractions just be sorted to show AFTER the normal likes and dislikes.
I make a lot of Sims and it just feels weird to me every time. Dunno if anyone else has noticed. Does that make sense? Would you ever consider a small change like that? Would really help continue to make the game -feel- like it "could have came that way" something I try really hard to stick to with my modlist personally. But like I said, nothing is a dealbreaker when it comes to your mods! So good! Thanks for reading this.

My game is fully up to date, and I have the latest versions of MCCC and WW installed. I'm using a same-sex couple, both female, to find out whether I can get one of them pregnant with same-sex try-for-baby enabled in MC WooHoo and WW's menstrual cycle fertility settings (in boosted) overriding EAxis' flat 80%.
My attempts to impregnate the "target" Sim after undergoing WW's fertility treatment and buying the Fertility reward trait have thus far failed, and this was done while the rates were between 60-80%. The "initiator" had a 0% chance of pregnancy this whole time, so I'm left wondering if WW treats the "initiator" as the "male" Sim for the purposes of determining the odds of conception. Does this have practically the same effect as perfect contraception in a male Sim?

EDIT: I am aware that I can uncheck the option to have WW functionality completely override game/mods functionality. It turned out that I did have it checked, which is almost certainly why they were having no success. I'm still curious as to whether is there a way to make same-sex pregnancy work somehow, barring cheats, with WW's pregnancy functionality in place.
Hey! Sims sex has nothing to do with their ability to have a baby. You adjust their ability to impregnate, get pregnant, both or none in CAS Gender Settings. You haven't mentioned if you've done that but that is necessary for pregnancy to occur no matter if Sims are male, female or other.
If you want a Sim to be able to both impregnate and get pregnant, get my other mod.
Hi, I'm having an issue since the newest update where: I have been setting up my sims attractiveness settings so they will find each other attractive, which worked, however, whenever I exit and join the game again back it always resets both back to be very unattractive. If I could get some help I would highly appreciate it!
It's like they're automatically set up when you load into the game and then if you try to change it, it won't accept any of the changes after you restart the game. In 1 of my games it's completely wiped their preferences.
It's more like each time I restart my game all attractiveness settings are reset and none of the sims in my game has even 1 selected setting, nothing is checked, not a single preference =) Yes I think if I'm not the only one having that it could need a patch :/
Hey! This isn't enough information for me to know, but it sounds like there are three cases here.
If you loaded the game and Sim view of other Sims changed, has their preferences changed as well?
- If they didn't change, but the view of other Sims did, then something about these other Sims changed. When their outfit or body changes, the view changes as well. This will especially happen when you edit them or remove CC clothing. Additionally, if you have the "Attractiveness Dynamic World View" enabled, Sims views will change with how the world changes and you might have very little control over it as that's how fashion and cultural/social preferences change.
- If they changed to something seemingly random, did you ever set their preferences in CAS? These preferences will override any other preferences you set or develop later in the game. If you didn't, I'm not aware of a situation where this can happen as Sims with already set/developed/randomized preferences are blocked from having new preferences therefore making it impossible to happen.
- If they changed to nothing, meaning they have no preferences selected at all, that sounds like you lost your WW save data. I'm not aware of anything that can cause this to happen. WW save data is embedded in the game save itself, using a fake empty household that holds global information about all Sims and the world. If for some reason that data goes missing or cannot be loaded, then that would result in preference missing as well. The issue is, I don't know of anything that would cause this data to disappear or fail to load. Thus far nobody is able to explain to me how and when it happens so I'm unable to help.
So to try to answer your questions, but I only know from what I have tested so far:
When reloading into the game, my sims preferences towards other sims were completely wiped, it showed no preferences in the menu, but they would still find some sims attractive/extremely unattractive etc. I set their preferences up and it seems that it fixes everything, they begin to find people I had selected attractive/very attractive etc. Then save and quit, reload the game, all the preferences are lost again.
I thought maybe this could be a conflict with another mod so I tried without any other mods, same occurrence.
I tried in another save to see if my save was broken. The same thing happened, sims don't have any auto generated preferences, so I developed their preferences, they found their SO extremely attractive, save and exit. They have lost their attractiveness settings again.
None of these sims have their preferences set up in CAS as I know they overwrite the menu ones, so I made sure to check that. But from what I know, I had my subscribers on YouTube check and they're also having the same issue of sims having no preferences set up and changing them doesn't save.
For me, this only started occurring as of the newest patch as everything was fine before that for myself.
Hopefully some of this info helped with solving what the error is :)
I have the exact same problem, I tried setting preferences and playing the game on different computer, with and without other mods, and the preferences are ALWAYS wiped when I restart the game like for MissLollypop! It happens with all sims not only the played ones and not only on adults sims, on teens and young adults too :)
I tried just launching the game, setting the preferences, and then immediatly close it and re-launch to see if it would be wiped even if I don't play with the preferences I have set. It wiped it even if I didn't play !

hi! ive had this mod for months and recently with this mod i cannot try for baby. i deleted every single one of my mods and put this one in first and the only mod in my folder but i cannot still try for baby unless i take the mod out. months ago it worked perfectly fine with the mod for me, but as of a few weeks ago (and now) the issue is still not fixed. this is my favorite mod and i even deleted all of my others to test my game and its still not working. what could be the problem? i mean isnt this an updated version? so why wouldnt it be working if it used to for me?
Hi! I'm not the mod creator, but I assume they are going to be busy getting it fixed for the updates. I wanted to know if you redownloaded the mod with the June 8th version? If so, maybe do a repair on your sims 4 file just to let it fix anything that might be in the way of reading the mod. Of course, we might have to wait for a new update and maybe that will fix all your issues as well.

This could be your computer blocking the file from downloading. You might need to make sure you have "allow cookies" and go directly to your downloads and click "allow download"
Hi, I just wanted to make sure I am understanding the storytelling aspects of this mod: in order to get the attractiveness alert and hot daydreaming notifications in the game, my sim has to find another sim extremely attractive and not very attractive in order for the story telling notifications to pop up correct? Hello! I would like to ask a question. I tried to develop all sims' attractiveness, and it finally ended to make all girls being attracted to....girls!!! I don't think this was a random event. Is it probably a bug or something? I then chose it by myself and fixed it. Tried to make (again) a random development, and then it was everything ok. But the first one came with 0% likes of men and 100% likes of girls!!! :/
Also, are various things you learn about personality archetypes, or what attracts or not a sim written somewhere for us to see and remember? There was nothing in the 'sim profile' UI page. So I should write it down on paper to remember it :/

I've downloaded the mod a while ago and did everything you show on the tutorial but when i entered the game it showed me that a folder was missing the name of it is "separate script folder", I tried downloading many times to see if it would come together but it didnt, could you please tell me where i can download the second folder?
hi! this sometimes happens if a file is more than one folder deep. maybe look if there is maybe a file inside a folder inside the main ww folder (confusing i know)
I have encountered a bug, and after doing tests of all my mods one by one, I believe Wonderful Whims is the culprit, and perhaps it's interfering with another mod.
Basically, my issue is that when my Sims try for a baby, if they get pregnant then no pregnancy test option appears, and only a "throw up" option appears. If a pregnancy test option appears, then it's 100% confirmed that the Sim is NOT pregnant. There is never the "eating for two" notification, and if the Sim is pregnant, the pregnancy moodlet just slips in quietly without any alert that she's pregnant.
It's been happening for a while now, so I figured I would send over a report! My game version is 1.76.81.1020, and I see that Wonderful Whims is confirmed for versions up to 1.73.57, but I believe this has been happening since prior to the v20 update of Wonderful Whims.
Hi, i had the exact same issue as the person above and once i removed wonderfulwhims it worked normally so i do think it plays a role. Probably with lumpinou's welness mod.
Type ctrl + shift + c, type in testingcheats on/true, shift + left click on the sim you want to be polyamorous. in the bottom left or right of the pie menu, click "Sim Info" and "Add Trait" scroll until you see "Polyamorous" and click on that. "Adulterer" Has the same affect.
I love your mod! But I'm having a problem with the phone part it's not showing up for my females at all but is showing up for the males. The only way my female sims can get her hygiene products is through the computer.
i recently downloaded your wonderful whims mod. i’ve experienced some glitching while playing the sims and i thought it was due to recent downloads, so i decided to delete the mod and figure out the problem. turns out, the mod is still in effect even without the files in the mod folder. for example, the likes and dislikes are still there, and i just want the entire mod completely off of the game. do you have any ideas on how to fix that or why it’s doing that?

In which case make sure your game is up to date, and check if the problem persists with no mods installed, as some people have reported that feature not working in the base game itself.
Hello!! First of all, I love this mod❤ But I have some issues with it. First: an notification error appear when a loaded a family, and even when I close it keep appearing. When I click Give Wonderful Attributes on the sims nothing happen, this happen with the Settings too. I downloaded the last version of the mod. I have all the game packs, stuff packs and expansions packs until Island Living (I dont have the other packs after Island Living) Please help!
Hello! I do love to use your mod, but it turns on DEBUG menu, and I don't want it. Can I fix it? I tried to remove my mods folder entirely and one by one added mods to find the one which caused DEBUG menu appear. So I am sure that WW is turning full DEBUG options like "destroy object" or "start fire". I'd lite to play with testingcheats on to reset sims, but full debug is too much

Hi! Thank you for making this mod I love it, but I have an error with version 20. I think it happened after I downloaded MC Command Center, I've had a bug to do with Wonderful Whims where every time I try to open my sims sim profile it never comes up and just plays the music or opens but doesn’t show the information about the sim. I've taken out Wonderful Whims and the profiles work. I haven’t tried leaving just this mod yet.
Might be caused by two things - some players report that the Likes/Dislikes are broken in the game itself and are causing issues like the one you're describing.
Or, you have some custom traits that are broken/outdated.
I'd wait for today's patch if I were you, and if you do, please let us know if that fixed it!
I usually don't like asking questions on public forums, but I'm completely stumped about this issue I'm having with Wonderful Whims. Is there something I'm missing or just not getting right?
I downloaded the zip, extracted it to my mods folder, and I get one script and one tuning package. When I play the game, however, I can't choose the attractiveness of any of my sims. I removed all my mods and tried to troubleshoot, but can't pinpoint the problem. When I try to change attractiveness, all I get are preference options as shown in the attachment. Is there something I'm getting wrong?
What you sent are the options to choose what your Sim finds attractive. Unless you're trying to make your Sim appear attractive to other Sims, in which case you'd need to Develop other Sims preferences, click "Develop based on Picked Sim" and pick the Sim you want to be perceived as Attractive.

Hi, I have found that this mod is conflicting with mc command centre try for baby percent, the conflict is making the percentage 0% each time I check and I've tried multiple different things but its just not working so all my sims are unable to have children. After removing WonderfullWhims from my game, mc command centre is working again but I'm now missing the attractiveness system from my game and I was just wondering if there is a fix for this as it never used to happen before.
If you want MCCC to work you're gonna need to navigate into Wonderful Settings -> Pregnancy Settings -> Override Game/Mods Pregnancy and you're gonna have to make sure that this setting is unchecked.

Sometimes Sims can't Scope the Surroundings, because there's no Sims around them.

I always delete that part of Slice of Life. Wonderful Whims handles menstruation much better, IMO.

It doesn't support older versions.

Sounds like some settings between both mods might be conflicting with each other.
Try playing around a bit with both mods' pregnancy settings in particular, see if you can figure out what's wrong.
Check out if the problem persists on a new save as well!

If you loaded the game and Sim view of other Sims changed, has their preferences changed as well?
- If they didn't change, but the view of other Sims did, then something about these other Sims changed. When their outfit or body changes, the view changes as well. This will especially happen when you edit them or remove CC clothing. Additionally, if you have the "Attractiveness Dynamic World View" enabled, Sims views will change with how the world changes and you might have very little control over it as that's how fashion and cultural/social preferences change.
- If they changed to something seemingly random, did you ever set their preferences in CAS? These preferences will override any other preferences you set or develop later in the game. If you didn't, I'm not aware of a situation where this can happen as Sims with already set/developed/randomized preferences are blocked from having new preferences therefore making it impossible to happen.
- If they changed to nothing, meaning they have no preferences selected at all, that sounds like you lost your WW save data. I'm not aware of anything that can cause this to happen. WW save data is embedded in the game save itself, using a fake empty household that holds global information about all Sims and the world. If for some reason that data goes missing or cannot be loaded, then that would result in preference missing as well. The issue is, I don't know of anything that would cause this data to disappear or fail to load. Thus far nobody is able to explain to me how and when it happens so I'm unable to help.
So to try to answer your questions, but I only know from what I have tested so far:
When reloading into the game, my sims preferences towards other sims were completely wiped, it showed no preferences in the menu, but they would still find some sims attractive/extremely unattractive etc. I set their preferences up and it seems that it fixes everything, they begin to find people I had selected attractive/very attractive etc.
Then save and quit, reload the game, all the preferences are lost again.
I thought maybe this could be a conflict with another mod so I tried without any other mods, same occurrence.
I tried in another save to see if my save was broken. The same thing happened, sims don't have any auto generated preferences, so I developed their preferences, they found their SO extremely attractive, save and exit. They have lost their attractiveness settings again.
None of these sims have their preferences set up in CAS as I know they overwrite the menu ones, so I made sure to check that.
But from what I know, I had my subscribers on YouTube check and they're also having the same issue of sims having no preferences set up and changing them doesn't save.
For me, this only started occurring as of the newest patch as everything was fine before that for myself.
Hopefully some of this info helped with solving what the error is :)
I have the exact same problem, I tried setting preferences and playing the game on different computer, with and without other mods, and the preferences are ALWAYS wiped when I restart the game like for MissLollypop! It happens with all sims not only the played ones and not only on adults sims, on teens and young adults too :)
I tried just launching the game, setting the preferences, and then immediatly close it and re-launch to see if it would be wiped even if I don't play with the preferences I have set. It wiped it even if I didn't play !

hi! ive had this mod for months and recently with this mod i cannot try for baby. i deleted every single one of my mods and put this one in first and the only mod in my folder but i cannot still try for baby unless i take the mod out. months ago it worked perfectly fine with the mod for me, but as of a few weeks ago (and now) the issue is still not fixed. this is my favorite mod and i even deleted all of my others to test my game and its still not working. what could be the problem? i mean isnt this an updated version? so why wouldnt it be working if it used to for me?
Hi! I'm not the mod creator, but I assume they are going to be busy getting it fixed for the updates. I wanted to know if you redownloaded the mod with the June 8th version? If so, maybe do a repair on your sims 4 file just to let it fix anything that might be in the way of reading the mod. Of course, we might have to wait for a new update and maybe that will fix all your issues as well.

That is the correct behavior of the mod.
WonderfulWhims removes the Try for Baby interaction by default.
If you want your Sims to get pregnant you have to make sure that they're in their fertile days and don't use birth control while WooHooing.
You can bring back the Try for Baby option in the Settings

This could be your computer blocking the file from downloading. You might need to make sure you have "allow cookies" and go directly to your downloads and click "allow download"

Hi, I just wanted to make sure I am understanding the storytelling aspects of this mod: in order to get the attractiveness alert and hot daydreaming notifications in the game, my sim has to find another sim extremely attractive and not very attractive in order for the story telling notifications to pop up correct? Hello! I would like to ask a question. I tried to develop all sims' attractiveness, and it finally ended to make all girls being attracted to....girls!!! I don't think this was a random event. Is it probably a bug or something? I then chose it by myself and fixed it. Tried to make (again) a random development, and then it was everything ok. But the first one came with 0% likes of men and 100% likes of girls!!! :/
Also, are various things you learn about personality archetypes, or what attracts or not a sim written somewhere for us to see and remember? There was nothing in the 'sim profile' UI page. So I should write it down on paper to remember it :/
I don't know how you're developing so I cannot comment on it, but you must be selecting something that sets Sims to like women.
Currently there's no way to play around with Impressions, but I will be coming back to that system.

I've downloaded the mod a while ago and did everything you show on the tutorial but when i entered the game it showed me that a folder was missing the name of it is "separate script folder", I tried downloading many times to see if it would come together but it didnt, could you please tell me where i can download the second folder?
hi! this sometimes happens if a file is more than one folder deep. maybe look if there is maybe a file inside a folder inside the main ww folder (confusing i know)
Also, make sure that Script Mods are turned on in the Game Options. That option gets switched off after each Sims 4 update.

I have encountered a bug, and after doing tests of all my mods one by one, I believe Wonderful Whims is the culprit, and perhaps it's interfering with another mod.
Basically, my issue is that when my Sims try for a baby, if they get pregnant then no pregnancy test option appears, and only a "throw up" option appears. If a pregnancy test option appears, then it's 100% confirmed that the Sim is NOT pregnant. There is never the "eating for two" notification, and if the Sim is pregnant, the pregnancy moodlet just slips in quietly without any alert that she's pregnant.
It's been happening for a while now, so I figured I would send over a report! My game version is 1.76.81.1020, and I see that Wonderful Whims is confirmed for versions up to 1.73.57, but I believe this has been happening since prior to the v20 update of Wonderful Whims.

Must be some other mod causing issues, WonderfulWhims doesn't really change how the game handles pregnancy tests.

Type ctrl + shift + c, type in testingcheats on/true, shift + left click on the sim you want to be polyamorous. in the bottom left or right of the pie menu, click "Sim Info" and "Add Trait" scroll until you see "Polyamorous" and click on that. "Adulterer" Has the same affect.

i recently downloaded your wonderful whims mod. i’ve experienced some glitching while playing the sims and i thought it was due to recent downloads, so i decided to delete the mod and figure out the problem. turns out, the mod is still in effect even without the files in the mod folder. for example, the likes and dislikes are still there, and i just want the entire mod completely off of the game. do you have any ideas on how to fix that or why it’s doing that?

Make sure you're deleting the files from the correct Mods folder, not a backup or a cloud copy.
I'm not sure what you mean by "likes and dislikes are still there" as that is a base game feature, not something WonderfulWhims adds.

In which case make sure your game is up to date, and check if the problem persists with no mods installed, as some people have reported that feature not working in the base game itself.
Hello!! First of all, I love this mod❤ But I have some issues with it. First: an notification error appear when a loaded a family, and even when I close it keep appearing. When I click Give Wonderful Attributes on the sims nothing happen, this happen with the Settings too. I downloaded the last version of the mod. I have all the game packs, stuff packs and expansions packs until Island Living (I dont have the other packs after Island Living) Please help!

Hello! I do love to use your mod, but it turns on DEBUG menu, and I don't want it. Can I fix it? I tried to remove my mods folder entirely and one by one added mods to find the one which caused DEBUG menu appear. So I am sure that WW is turning full DEBUG options like "destroy object" or "start fire". I'd lite to play with testingcheats on to reset sims, but full debug is too much

I think you're talking about WickedWhims, since there never was a WonderfulWhims version named 161c, and probably won't be for a couple of years.
In which case this is not the right place to ask, and no, there is no way to download older versions.
Hi! Thank you for making this mod I love it, but I have an error with version 20. I think it happened after I downloaded MC Command Center, I've had a bug to do with Wonderful Whims where every time I try to open my sims sim profile it never comes up and just plays the music or opens but doesn’t show the information about the sim. I've taken out Wonderful Whims and the profiles work. I haven’t tried leaving just this mod yet.

Might be caused by two things - some players report that the Likes/Dislikes are broken in the game itself and are causing issues like the one you're describing.
Or, you have some custom traits that are broken/outdated.
I'd wait for today's patch if I were you, and if you do, please let us know if that fixed it!

I usually don't like asking questions on public forums, but I'm completely stumped about this issue I'm having with Wonderful Whims. Is there something I'm missing or just not getting right?
I downloaded the zip, extracted it to my mods folder, and I get one script and one tuning package. When I play the game, however, I can't choose the attractiveness of any of my sims. I removed all my mods and tried to troubleshoot, but can't pinpoint the problem. When I try to change attractiveness, all I get are preference options as shown in the attachment. Is there something I'm getting wrong?

What you sent are the options to choose what your Sim finds attractive. Unless you're trying to make your Sim appear attractive to other Sims, in which case you'd need to Develop other Sims preferences, click "Develop based on Picked Sim" and pick the Sim you want to be perceived as Attractive.

Hi, I have found that this mod is conflicting with mc command centre try for baby percent, the conflict is making the percentage 0% each time I check and I've tried multiple different things but its just not working so all my sims are unable to have children. After removing WonderfullWhims from my game, mc command centre is working again but I'm now missing the attractiveness system from my game and I was just wondering if there is a fix for this as it never used to happen before.

If you want MCCC to work you're gonna need to navigate into Wonderful Settings -> Pregnancy Settings -> Override Game/Mods Pregnancy and you're gonna have to make sure that this setting is unchecked.

Hi I just downloaded the wonderfull whims mod, and it is really cool. but the 'take a pregnancy test' option isnt showing up anymore, so my sims arent able to give birth. Is there anyway to fix this?

How and What do I change in setting? and i dont think i have any other mods installed the would conflict with this, unless mccc affects it
