Hi, I'm having some problems with this. I hope you will be able to help me out with. It seems like the mod is trying to parse some narrative stuff but hits an error, also saying it found an invalid value for Narrative Group—defaulting to an invalid value. Please help me through how to fix the parsing error and the wrong narrative group value. Is there a certain fix or update able to correct these errors? Please include detailed steps for troubleshooting. Thank you very much for the time.
hi I think we are going to get an update soon, EA just updated SIM 4 and fixed a lot of things, but messed up a lot of mods, and I think thats why Wonderful Whims is having issues. I am sure they are working on it, as soon as they can. x Dre

Okay im glad i aint the only one with this problem. Love this mod btw. This mod used to work just fine, and I have singlehandedly tested every mod, base game/vanilla. I have updated everything, uninstalled everything, made new saves…I’ve even been on discord and…well, I thought I solved it, but no. It’s been several days 😭
Issue: Trying for baby>gets pregnant>no pregnancy test option>only throw up/sim throws up. They don’t have the eating for two option, they don’t have anything.
I have tried to disable the mod, tweak with the mod settings, but everytime, I come across this issue. Please help! (Wonderful Whims)
Hi! I'm having an issue with pregnancy tests and though it's been reported before I couldn't find a fix so I thought I'd come here. Basically, my sim is pregnant, but I only know this due to the MCCC mod - when it happened, there was no option to take a pregnancy test and there remains no option to do so which means my sim simply doesn't know she is pregnant. It is quite frustrating because she is throwing up but there's no moodlet or any indication she is aware she has a baby and I'm unsure as to what to do?
When she wasn't pregnant the option for a test was always there, but now it's gone. The fertility test option remains.
I have the same issue and thought maybe one of the other mods is outdated. Only MCC was so I installed the latest version and the pregnancy test option still does not appear. Fertility test I can do and my sim can throw up, but not do a test. And she is pregnant (found that out with MCC)
olá ! eu baixei o WonderfulWhims mas quando eu entro no jogo apenas aparece os preservativos, controle de natalidade e o shampoo para piolhos. Não aparece nenhum tipo de interação. Deixei o ww em uma pasta separada dentro dos mods do ts4, mas por algum motivo o ww não funciona por completo. não sei oque estou fazendo de errado, já tentei baixar novamente mas acontece a mesma coisa. alguém por favor pode me ajudar ?
é estranho pq aparece algumas coisa, já tentou testa deixar só com esse mod pra ver se vai? as vezes pode ser que esteja dando conflito com algum outro mod parecido

I am not sure if it is just me but for some reason when I try to have my sim use the birth control the birth control doesn't have the option to take it out of the package the only option I am getting is to put it in my sims inventory and even then the only thing I can do is add it to my favorites. I took all my other mods out and still having this issue hopefully this can be fixed thanks.
I'm having a similar issue, however it's vice versa. I get an error message claiming I'm using an outdated version of the sims, however the game is fully updated.
I just installed the mod and it shows me the same Error notification as the ones commenting before me. I can make them pose but not place them diffrently. Thank you for your work though. Hope you can fix it. Lots of love <3
hello I downloaded the new wonderwhims update and non of the features from before are working. my sims don't get periods and I don't know what I am doing wrong I ended up redownloading the old install because the new one wasn't working
First off - looks like you have 2 copies of the mod, make sure there's only one.
Secondly - the mod is likely installed too many folders deep, hence the game cannot detect it. The mod files themselves shouldn't be any deeper than one folder deep.
hi, i just downloaded Wonderful Whims for the first time, made sure to insert the unzipped WonderfulWhimsMod folder straight into the mods folder (not within another folder, so the script and package files are just one folder deep, and obv not including the zipped folder), but Better Exceptions is telling me there is a fatal error. it says : 'wickedwhims/main/update_data_reset_handler' (wickedwhims.main.update_data_reset_handler) No module named 'wickedwhims.main.update_data_reset_handler' (ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'wickedwhims.main.update_data_reset_handler') can anyone identify what the issue is or what i need to do please? i've just removed the mod for now. thanks!
Hi! I updated Wonderful Whims (longtime user) and now the pose player won't show up for me when I click on the menu in game. Everything pops up in the menu except for the pose player button and I've updated all my mods (only MCCC and a few of TwistedMexi's scripts) since the most recent game patch. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Many thanks for all the hard work that goes into such a mod!
Use a última versão que foi atualizada em 28/02/24 no jogo. Quando começou a dar o problema eu ainda não tinha atualizado o mod e depois que atualizei o mod pra nova versão, contínuo o erro. Outra coisa, não sei se é no mod ou na nova versão do jogo, mas não consigo fazer interações com os sims, abraçar, beijo, pegar os bebes no colo, colocar o bebe no berço, alimentar o bebe. nenhuma dessas interações funcionam de um sim com outro funcionam.

I assure you TURBO is hard at work, trying to release a new version of the mod, but in the meantime, all you can do is wait for TURBO, or play without mods for a while.
Meu jogo atualizou ontem (27/02/2024) para a versão 1.105, porém quando fui entrar para jogar (detalhe, os mods já estavam atualizados) deu erro. Já procurei tutoriais na internet de como resolver mas nenhum me ajudou. Peço para voçês me ajudarem a resolver este problema.
i downloaded the new update yet when i tried to follow to put the mod in the mod folder when i got into my game i didn't see any of the game play like the app or even the options for anything but just the items and the attractions
this happened for me too at first. go to the mods folder and click on your "wonderful whims" folder inside there (after you unzip it). the true ww script and package you need is hidden in there in a separate folder. you've just got to take out that folder (the one containing only the script and the package) and place it directly in your mods folder. the general folder is unnecessary at that point and you can delete it if you want. please lmk if any of that was confusing

For some reason, even when takin out other mods - I get no notifications. I click the toilet and it doesn't show me fertility. I have gone through the settings several times and I just dont understand whats happening.
Reporting a bug I noticed with adding WW Traits to sims. Every sim automatically has "Eternally Faithful" trait assigned to them. When I select for them to have the "Polyamory" trait it will assign it, but then makes note that it conflicts with the already assigned "Eternally Faithful". When I attempt to REMOVE the "Eternally Faithful" trait, it doesnt actually show up under the assigned traits list. Only the "Polyamory" trait appears.
I'm having trouble uninstalling Wonderful Whims from my computer. I've asked almost every Simmer on FB, but nothing helped after they told me what to do to get rid of it. I've tried so much and nothing is helping. It's just frustrating me the more I try. Please, I hope you have some better answers on how to uninstall Wonderful Whims off my computer. Thanks! Simply removing the mod from your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods directory should do the trick.
If you have a Windows PC and the OneDrive service, it has been known to be somewhat overzealous in bringing back deleted files from their grave, in which case try unlinking OneDrive or removing the mod from OneDrive directory as well.
hi, im having the same issue except it its no longer in my one drive and every time i open my game it says its in there but whenever i go to search to take it out...nothing pops up.
im currently trying for the 100th time in 2 hours to download this and i cant seem to find it in my game no pop ups no nothing its just the sims four im very confused. i need help

Hi so I have the mod installed and script mods are definitely on but the problem I’m having is I can’t open the wonderful whims mod settings when I click the option it just does nothing. Also I don’t get any wonderful whims notifications. I can take a fertility test or check the period tracker but when I do no notification pops up. I’ve tried reinstalling the mod and repairing my game but nothing has worked. pls help
how do i get an older version of this mod? i'm new to using mods but the game version i have is V.198.127 and i downloaded your most recent version and did everything i was supposed to and it doesn't work on my game. nothing happens. thank you!

It works again for me now in a new save file. Maybe something in that other save file where it did not work in, is corrupted.

With the game latest version and the mod in V51 i cant get it to load. Its only one folder deep and was working before the last update.

When I downloaded the mod I put it into electronic arts and mods but somehow it doesnt work and shows me this:

There's apparently a TS4 bug involving mod menus, TwistedMaxi has a patch for it in the latest hotfix for Better Exceptions, try that
